OUR PROJECTS
At Gamblers & Gaming Support Society Pictou County Chapter, we are committed to providing a listening ear, support and resources for students struggling with gaming addiction. Our projects include information on gambling and gaming forums, and resources to help individuals overcome their addiction.
There is a student gaming crisis here in Nova Scotia! As a result, it is our mission to collaborate with schools and youth support services in Nova Scotia to raise awareness about the risks and harms of a gaming addiction. We will offer an information on gaming forum with a helpful resource guide aimed to help those students and those who care for them.
In addition, we are creating, preparing, researching, and publishing 15,000 copies of a Nova Scotia Student Gaming Crisis Comic Book with a Resource Guide Included. Everything will be done in Nova Scotia by Nova Scotians. It will be Distributed to students and their support communities in Nova Scotia free of charge. It will be based on true experiences from Nova Scotian Students struggling with a gaming addiction.
We are working diligently to ensure that everyone will have access to this dynamic Gaming Crisis Comic Book and Resource Guide. We are making it accessible and downloadable online at no charge. Its resource guide will have links without location restrictions or access restrictions. Any student in the world will be able to be empowered to take control of their gaming habits and lead a healthier, more balanced life.
